The Institute for Policy Research & Governance (IPRG) is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness in all its academic, research, and institutional activities. This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs the terms related to cancellations, refunds, and financial liabilities associated with IPRG programs and services.

1. Internship Programs

• Commitment Fee and Refund Eligibility

  All IPRG Internship Programs are research-oriented, certificate-based, and unpaid. For the November 2026 cohort onwards, a commitment fee of ₹199 is applicable. This fee shall be refunded to the original source account used for payment only upon the intern’s successful completion of the entire 45-day internship program, in accordance with IPRG’s prescribed guidelines and completion requirements.

  The commitment fee shall be non-refundable under the following circumstances:

  • Voluntary Withdrawal: If an intern discontinues or withdraws from the internship before its successful completion for any reason, including personal commitments or other circumstances.

  • Termination Due to Inactivity: If an intern’s participation is terminated due to inactivity, non-participation, or failure to fulfil the prescribed internship requirements.

  • Violation of Guidelines: If an intern is terminated for violating IPRG’s rules, regulations, code of conduct, or internship guidelines.

  Interns who withdraw, are terminated, or otherwise fail to complete the internship successfully shall not be eligible for a refund of the commitment fee, an Internship Certificate, a Letter of Recommendation, or publication and research privileges associated with successful completion. Incomplete participation may also affect eligibility for future IPRG programs.

2. Research Paper Publication & Manuscript Refund Policy

• Refunds related to research paper publication or manuscript submission fees shall be processed only in cases where IPRG formally rejects the manuscript after editorial or peer-review evaluation.

• In such cases:

  • A processing charge of ₹200 (Rupees Two Hundred only) shall be deducted.

  • The remaining amount shall be initiated as a refund.

  • Refunds will be credited within seven (7) working business days from the date of approval.

• No refund shall be issued once the manuscript has:

  • Entered the editorial process

  • Been accepted for publication

  • Been published or assigned a publication slot

3. Membership Plans

• All IPRG Membership Plan payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once paid.

• Membership benefits remain valid only for the duration specified at the time of subscription.

• Cancellation requests after payment confirmation shall not qualify for any refund, irrespective of usage status.

4. Events, Workshops & Webinars

• Registrations for paid events, workshops, seminars, or webinars organized by IPRG cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

• No refunds shall be issued in cases of:

  • Non-attendance

  • Partial participation

  • Late joining Technical issues from the participant’s end

5.Unauthorized Transactions & Liability Disclaimer

• IPRG shall not be held liable for any financial loss arising from:

  • Payments made to unauthorized or third-party applications/websites

  • Transactions conducted outside IPRG’s official website or verified payment channels

• Users are solely responsible for ensuring that payments are made only through official IPRG platforms.

6. Policy Revision & Authority

• IPRG reserves full authority to revise, modify, amend, or update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

• Continued use of IPRG services or participation in its programs constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• This policy has been framed with due consideration of applicable Indian laws.

• Any disputes arising out of or in relation to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

8. Policy Effectiveness

• This Cancellation & Refund Policy is effective from 25 October 2026 and supersedes all prior policies, communications, or understandings related to refunds and cancellations.
